Central Tokyo & Ginza Shopping District

Went for a walk around Central Tokyo near the imperial Palace, and the adjacent Ginza shopping district.
Imperial Palace in Tokyo isn't that 'nice' but the grounds and gardens are fairly big.  A city where real estate is such a prime commodity - the government hold a lot of it and use a lot of it with bloody gardens.  Ginza itself is home to the high end upper class shopping.

So much area put aside for officials

While other season's are more spectacular, winter is beautiful in it's own right.

Imperial bridge of something. Couldn't actually see the castle due to security as it's still used.

Ginza.  Holds the flagship stores for lots of places.  Sony, apple, all the designer labels, Seiko watches etc etc.  The sony building was impressive.  7 stories of new products on display.  3D TV's which didn't need glasses, demo 'virtual reality' game systems where you put a headset on and can look around the cabin of your car as you drive around a track.

The most famous building in Ginza apparently. All the shops had restaurants on their top floors. Some had golfing ranges too.

All-in-all the area is way out of my budget hehe
